Recommend the Tuna Tataki and if you are getting the Fillet Steak order the asparagus with quails egg. Staff very professional and friendly, white linen on tables, spotless and modern bathrooms. They have seats outside but bear in mind the weather and that a lot of people will be walking by right beside you. Nice table with view of the harbour and folks walking by. Had the Tuna Tartare, Tuna Tataki, Fillet Steak, Fish Croquettes, Seafood pasta dishes and of course Tiramisu.įlavours and presentation are very good, we dined in the main dining room each time, not sure if I'd like the Annex beside it. Dined here multiple times over the past three weeks. Our new favourite restaurant in Corralejo, beating Sanus, Tantaluna and Marni. This is a very recommended place in Las Palmas both for lunch or dinner. Natillas: a nice and creamy traditional dessert. Toffee with vainilla and caramel: nice but a bit too sweetĬream of vanilla and berries: original taste a bit sweet and savoury. Crunchy outside and extremely tender inside. Oxtail with sauce: tasty and tender, perfectĢ4 hours slow cooked pig: this is another must try. Ham croquettes: crunchy outside with a thin crust, creamy and plenty of ham inside. Good combination with a running yolk inside the omelette and the seafood on top. Truffle gnochis: really delicious a must try.Įggs and navajas(seafood): that was a surprise for a dish. Some cold cuts, corn bread and tomate with oil. Really soft and sweet inside but with a savoury crust. They could be a bit more attentive tho, things like refiling drinks, or offering more bread makes the difference.įood: they started with homemade walnuts bread. Always Keen to recommend the best items on the menu as well as out of the menu dishes. This place is always full so you need to book in advance. Decorated in a colonial style with modern touches. Place: it is located in the old city of las palmas. Book in advance, as restaurants in this area get very busy. We retired to the bar for a final drink, and you can see the measure in the picture!Īll in all Lagarto was a very pleasant experience. If you’re a meat eater the steaks look amazing. We then had our mains and I didn’t like the vegan lentil dish, but it was beautifully presented and just not to my taste. Both portions were huge (double the size of the brunch portions). The prawn croquettes are delicious, and the vegan mushroom pate was also very nice. We went back for dinner and had starters and mains. It was a long, leisurely meal, so plan for at least a couple of hours. We tried the brunch one day, which was good value at 30€ for three course, half a bottle of wine, and a G&T. It’s definitely advisable to share starters if eating off the main menu, otherwise there is too much food. It’s quite pricey, but the ambiance is great and the portions are very generous. Lovely restaurant and cocktail bar in La Caleta on the Costa Adeje in Tenerife.
